Snow Dreams Papers & Sheer Ribbon Tutorial.

I needed some pastel snowflake papers for some boxes and bags I am working on and came up with these. I thought I would share them with you.

I recieved an email asking how I made the sheer ribbons that I put on my previews. I am not good at making tutorials, but I thought I would give it a shot and share my secret with you.

I almost always do my designing in Photoshop 7.0 so that is what I'm using for the tutorial. I'm sure that you can apply the steps to other programs.

I hope that the tutorial was easy to understand and helpful.

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!

  2. Brenda, I hope this day finds you well.
A bit of sad news...I will not be downloading your samples anymore. You use 4 shared and I am boycotting them due to the exuberant time one has to wait for a download. Example, I downloaded the above, thank you for that by the way, and I had to wait 360 seconds to get it. I can only suggest if you want to make any business you move your samples to another file sharing host or you will lose business.
    Have a fantastic day.

Besides she could have opened the download in a new window and read your tutorial, which I did. Gotta love some people they are way too funny!!!! LOL Thank-YOU for the freebie!!!!

  9. Thanks for all you do - love your stuff. And as far as waiting, I just open another window and do something else - check email, weather, etc. Grateful hearts make grateful attitudes, IMHO.

It makes me appreciate your freebies even more!
As for 4shared, some I have had to wait over 1100 (yes, eleven hundred!!) seconds .. btmo-pat would have had a conniption!! he he he. I just minimize the download and carry on .. sometimes I have six or seven sitting down on the task bar!! For every problem there is a solution. lol. Thanks again!
